During the last meeting in Beirut (Lebanon) on 4 March 2008, ABCAR board members (Shell, SCB, Boecker, CS&T, DHL) finalised the legal establishment of ABCAR. ABCAR will be registered as a Lebanese NGO, and will be based in Beirut, for administrative flexibility, although future activities will cover the entire Arab region.. read more

The official launch of ABCAR was held on 18th May 2007 at the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Middle East in the Dead Sea, Jordan.
